Are the five star ratings justified? What’s the after sales service like?

There are lots of reviews and five star ratings that deal with the process of buying a car from Bil and Jav at Globe Motors Blackburn. I agree with everything that’s being said about the whole experience of sourcing, going to see, and buying a car from these guys. We bought an old, but low mileage car from them 10 months ago and it was the most positive interaction I’ve had when buying a car.
I’ve waited to write this review because I was interested to get a feel for what the after sales/servicing experience is like at Globe Motors. The answer is that it’s just as positive, if not more so, than the business of buying the car from these guys in the first place.
Because the car we bought was quite old, (54 plate), but with stunningly low mileage, I was half expecting that there might be some kind of minor issue once we’d started running it in. There was, the car developed an intermittent weird groany noise somewhere in the front suspension. Everyone’s worst nightmare, a used car, out of its initial one month no quibble period, with an intermittent unidentified noise. When I phoned up to raise the issue it was immediately obvious that the only thing that mattered as far as they were concerned was to get things sorted out and resolved as quickly as possible. Luckily, when I took the car up to Blackburn it obliged by making the weird noise, everyone started talking about a “dry bush”, (it’s very important to note that at no point was the car dangerous, or could the problem have been foreseen in advance). At the end of the day it turned out not to be this simple and the guys response was to thoroughly check through every aspect of the problem area and arrive at the source of the problem, replace a couple of bits and then thoroughly test the car until they were able to report back that “they were pretty sure they’d solved it”. They had! I was absolutely bowled over by the time, effort, and professionalism they’d put into resolving this issue. I was even more amazed when I went to pick the car up and was told there was no bill/charge for parts or labour. I’ve never experienced this level of service anywhere else.
I’m just back from having Globe Motors service and MOT our car. Great friendly service once again.
As long as Globe Motors are around, we won’t be going anywhere else.
